Enugu Rangers midfielder, Godwin Aguda has revealed why he turned down offers to switch to Rivers United during the transfer window.
Aguda, 20, said he was in love with the set up at the Coal City side as well as help the club get back into the continent next season.
“Rivers United made a good offer to me but sometimes its not all about money”, Aguda said.
“I’m at home here in Enugu. The set up is good, the atmosphere is conducive and we have a management that are very attentive to players welfare.
“And in situations like that, it becomes difficult to just say goodbye and it is my believe we can get a continental ticket at the close of the season”.
