World Cup: Ebuehi dreams Super Eagles call up

By Daily Sports on February 20, 2018

ADO Den Haag fullback Tyronne Ebuehi has said his dream is to be part of the Super Eagles team to the 2018 World Cup.

If the right-back is summoned for the upcoming friendlies against Poland and Serbia, it means he is in the plans of manager Gernot Rohr and stands a good chance of making Nigeria’s provisional World Cup squad when it is announced by May 14.

‘’For me, the most important thing is to keep making minutes. Going to such a club means a new adventure and you do not know whether you’re going to make minutes,’’ Ebuehi told  FCupdate.nl.

‘’Here I get trust from the club, the trainer and the players. If I keep playing here, I can hopefully go to the World Cup and nice things can come.’’

On his chances of being on the plane to Russia, Ebuehi stated : ‘’I do not have to act too fast, otherwise it can also be a disappointment, I feel good about it, and of course I dream about it, it’s close and in terms of football, the World Cup is the biggest stage in the world. I can go with it, it’s a dream come true, maybe the biggest one.’’
