Nigerian forward Imoh Ezekiel has vowed to give his best at his new Spanish LaLiga Santander club Las Palmas, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Ezekiel was unveiled to the Las Palmas fans on Saturday after signing a one-and-a-half-year deal with an option for a further year.
“I am ready to play, but now it all depends on the coach. I am very happy to have signed at UD Las Palmas, it is a great opportunity for me to play in the best league in the world and against the best players,” Ezekiel told the Spanish media during his unveiling on Saturday.
“I will do everything possible to have a good season with UD Las Palmas.”
The former Nigeria U-23s star also recounted his ordeal at his previous club, Konyaspor.
“It was difficult for me to adapt to Turkish football, my family was not happy and that is why we decided to look for another club,” the Rio 2016 star explained.
“Also I was owed for several months there which made it more difficult.”
Ezekiel could make his debut for Las Palmas in when they host Sevilla at the Gran Canaria Stadium next Saturday. (Completesportsnigeria)
