Marco Asensio has told Real Madrid he’ll leave if he’s not selected for Spain’s World Cup squad and Zinedine Zidane remains in charge next term.
Real are currently a whopping 18 points behind pace setters Barcelona as speculation continues to mount about Zidane’s future.
The under-fire Frenchman’s side could only manage a 2-2 draw with Levante on Saturday.
Asensio featured - but only for eight minutes as the clock wound down.
According to Spanish news outlet Diario Gol, he’s fuming about his lack of regular match action.
He’s reportedly informed Isco and Dani Ceballos that he’ll leave if his limited game time results in an omission from the national team.
