Rohr motivates home Eagles with W/Cup promises

As the home Eagles prepare to do battle against Rwanda in the ongoing 5^th African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Morocco, Gernot Rohr has said that outstanding players will be included in the World Cup squad to Russia.

Nigeria will open her account against 2016 hosts Rwanda today in Tangier, which is on the Strait of the Atlantic Ocean, but the focus would be more straight and direct on the actors from the Nigeria Professional Football League, who have an opportunity to stake claims for places in Mr. Rohr’s ensemble.

Rohr said: “The CHAN is a major competition and opportunity for us to take another look at the home boys. There could be some of them who will convince the technical crew that they can fight for places in the A team.” (The Sun)
