Sunday Oliseh’s Fortuna Sittard climbed back to number two spot after defeating Jong PSV from two goals down in a Dutch second division on Monday.
Fortuna Sittard defeated their opponent 3-2 at the De Herdgang Stadium.
The win placed the Oliseh’s side in the table with 32 points from 16 league games.
First half goals from Donyell Malen in the 30th minute and another from Sam Lammer eight minutes later gave hosts Jong PSV a 2-0 lead into the break but Fortuna Sittard fought back in the final 30 minutes of the second half.
Stefan Askovski pulled one back for Oliseh’s side in the 61st and in the 85th minute Leandro Semedo levelled scores for Fortuna Sittard from the spot.
Askovski sealed the win for Oliseh’s side with four minutes left to play to hand Fortuna Sittard their 10th win of the season.
Fortuna Sittard will face 15th placed RKC Waalwijk in their next home game on Friday.
