Super Eagles goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa has described his side’s international friendly match against Argentina as a positive development for Nigeria.
Ezenwa said no other friendly will be as high profile as the clash against the South American giants as a build-up for the upcoming 2018 Fifa World Cup in Russia.
“It’s a good development playing the former world champions and South American giants, Argentina in a top grade international friendly match in Russia, where next year’s World Cup will be holding.
“The friendly match will help us greatly in preparing for the upcoming 2018 Fifa World Cup in Russia.
“The friendly is a grade A clash and a very good and quality build-up for the World Cup.
“It’s an international friendly match with a difference as it is going to give us another world of confidence going into the World Cup proper.
“Playing a top-most football country in a pre-World Cup friendly and coming to face similar sides in the World Cup will make life quite easy for us.
“I’m personally looking forward to the all-important international friendly clash against Argentina,” he said. © supersport.com
