Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium to have all-round cover by December 2017

The Edo State Government has concluded plans to upgrade the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium to all covered seats by the end of this year.

According to Government House sources, the state’s sports-loving Governor, Chief Godwin Obaseki is doing everything to make the stadium have a new look.

“You see our stadium is going to have all round cover and it will be read by December,” one of the aides to the Governor declared.

Meanwhile the state football team, Bendel Insurance now has a sponsor for the next season while a new technical adviser will be signed next season as part of plans to bring the team back to the Premier League.
