CAF picks Victor Moses, Shehu Abdullahi in World Cup XI selection

By Daily Sports on October 11, 2017

Nigeria’s Victor Moses and Shehu Abdullahi have been picked by CAF in their World cup qualifier XI for this past weekend of action.

Nigeria pipped Zambia 1-0 to qualify for next year’s World Cup.

Shehu was named man of the match by organisers of the match in Uyo.

This will be Victor Moses’ third straight selection as he was also named in the team for last month’s double-header against Cameroon.

The Chelsea star has been Nigeria’s inspiration to a sixth World Cup appearance with a match to spare.

The other players in the team include Mohamed Salah, who scored late winner for Egypt to qualify for the World Cup after a 28-year absence, Percy Tau of South Africa and Kalidou Coulibaly of Senegal.

The next round of World Cup qualifying action will be from November 6. (SCORENigeria)
