Tebas wants Man City investigated over Kayode & four others

By Daily Sports on September 10, 2017

The President of the Spanish League Javier Tebas says Manchester City should be investigated over the loaning of Nigerian forward Olarewaju Kayode and four other to La-Liga side Girona.

Kayode who was signed and immediately loaned out to the newly promoted La-Liga side was among the five players Tebas complained of complexity in their loan deal.

According to Tebas Manchester City and Girona didn’t disclose the true worth of the five players loaned to Girona in a bid to help the newly promoted La-Liga side stay in line with the financial regulations of the La-Liga.

Tebas claimed the players have been valued at far less than the amount reported by Girona in their financial report to the La-Liga regarding salaries and loan fees.

The other players are Aleix Garcia, Douglas Luiz, Marlos Moreno and Pablo Maffeo, but City have hit back at the La-Liga president and have threatened to drag him to court over his claims.
