Young striker Blessing Eleke has joined Israeli club FC Ashdod after proving his class as a goal scorer in Slovenia.
The deal is for four years and it is believed to have cost 720,000 pounds.
The 21-year-old striker last played for Slovenian club NK Olimpija, but he has also played Gorica in the same country.
The towering centre-forward joined Gorica in August 2014 from Flying Sports of Lagos.
Last year, he hogged the headlines following a racist row involving his coach at Olimpija, who eventually quit his post when the matter got to a head.
The likes of Efe Ambrose and Juwon Oshaniwa have featured for Ashdod before he moved to Scotland.
