Obaje to replace Alhassan Ibrahim on Rapid Vienna radar

By Daily Sports on August 27, 2017

After Austrian club Rapid Vienna failed in a late bid to sign Alhassan Ibrahim  they have put the searchlight on Godwin Obaje.

“Rapid made a late, late bid for Alhassan when they learnt that city rivals Austrian Wien were going to sign him,” a source familiar with the deal informed SCORENigeria

“They are now talking with the agent of Obaje to see if they could get the striker.”

Former Wikki Tourists striker Obaje netted 18 goals last season to emerge as Goal King of the NPFL.

He has cracked double digits again this season with FC Ifeanyiubah.

Proposed moves to Russia and Tunisia fell through before this season.
