Chelsea are reportedly considering a late move for Everton’s Senegalese midfielder Idrissa Gueye.
According to The Telegraph, the Blues view Gueye as an alternative option to first-choice Danny Drinkwater from Leicester City.
Chelsea coach Antonio Conte is on the hunt for a central midfielder following the departure of Nathaniel Chalobah and Nemanja Matic.
Gueye has established himself as a key player for the Toffees since his arrival at Goodison Park from Aston Villa last year.
The 27-year-old has also played for Senegalese side Diambars and French Ligue 1’s Lille in his club career.
