Owner of NPFL side FC Ifeanyiubah has said his team have not given up hope of playing international football next year through the league.
FC Ifeanyiubah are fifth on the standings with 50 points behind leaders, Plateau United (59pts), MFM (54 pts), Akwa United (51 pts) and Enyimba (51 pts) going into the final five games of the season.
Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah said ‘The Anambra Warriors’ edged past Nasarawa United 1-0 in a matchday 33 fixture Sunday at Nnewi.
“Yes, we still have the ambition to return to the continent”, Ubah said with a measure of supreme confidence.
“There are still five matches remaining on the fixtures and I believe we can still make it back to the continent. “That is our ambition and we’re working hard toward realising it”.
