Leicester City manager frustrated over Iheanacho deal

By Daily Sports on July 30, 2017

Leicester City manager, Craig Shakespeare has voiced his frustration that a proposed deal to bring Kelechi Iheanacho to the King Power Stadium has yet to materialise.

Reports had circulated earlier this month in sections of the British media claiming that a deal had been agreed in principle between Leicester and Manchester City for the Super Eagles striker.

With the player yet to put pen to paper, Shakespeare has now voiced his frustrations at the situation.

“I think we saw the Harry McGuire one; we got that done quick,” Shakespeare said in an interview with SkySports News HQ.“

At the moment, we are interested in the player but we know how the Premier League is.

“We know that clubs won’t talk about it (player transfers) until they are over the line.“

I am hoping so (that we will sign Iheanacho).

“We find it frustrating but that’s how the (transfer) market works,” he said.
