Etor opts for Paykan FC

By Daily Sports on July 30, 2017

Enugu Rangers forward Daniel Etor has arrived in Iran, where he hopes to tie down a deal with Paykan FC, after he turned down a chance to move to Portugal.

SCORENigeria specially gathered Etor chose the Iranian club because they offered better pay.

The Tehran-based club have invited the former Enyimba star for three days during which they will discuss personal terms with him and if all goes according to plan, he will undergo a routine medical before he signs the dotted lines.

There was a storm around Etor after Rangers declared him AWOL on Friday.

But the player has since debunked this claim, insisting top club officials were very much aware of his trip overseas.

Daniel Etor who was shocked that Rangers declared him AWOL after he has permission to travel overseas said:“The general manager and the team manager were aware of my plan to travel only for me to read that I have gone missing,”
