Arsenal and Nigeria forward Alex Iwobi has had his charitable work recognised with a PFA Community Champion award.
The Super Eagles attacker, who is currently in Australia on preseason tour with the Gunners, was handed the award prior to travelling on Sunday evening.
Arsenal’s official website reports that Iwobi donated a day’s wages to The Arsenal Foundation in December and supported Arsenal for Everyone on matchday against Hull City.
He also visited the Arsenal Hub and the club's estates football programme at Elthorne Park, near Emirates Stadium.
The 21-year-old Iwobi has been part of Arsenal’s first team since 2015.
