Sincere Seth completes Turkish switch

Rio Olympics defender Sincere Seth has signed a three-year contract with newly promoted Turkish club Yeni Malatyaspor after he impressed on trials.

He has thus joined compatriots Okechukwu Azubuike, Sunday Mba and Austin Amutu in the Turkish Super Lig.

In one of the pre-season friendlies Sincere featured, Yeni Malatyaspor trounced Adana Demispor 5-0.

The team’s technical director Ertugrul Saglam’ spoke glowingly of Seth’s displays.

Seth from the Rhapsody Academy is an exciting right fullback, but at last year’s Rio Olympics he proved his versatility by playing in the heart of the back four alongside Eagles star William Troost-Ekong as Nigeria clinched the bronze medal. (SCORENigeria.com)
