French second division RC Lens have announced they will decide on whether or not to give ex-Eagles star Lukman Haruna a contract.
Haruna, 26, has been on trials at Lens and on Tuesday night scored for the second straight pre-season friendly. The French club said on their website that a decision on the midfielder’s future will be taken soon.
Haruna was hit on the leg during the friendly, but the club said, “He will continue to train with the team and a decision (on his future) will be taken when he returns to Deauville (the club’s base).”
He has battled injury in recent times, a situation that scuttled his trials at Danish club Odense earlier this year.
