Onyekuru, 20, has signed a five-year contract with Everton but will play on loan at Anderlecht in the coming season.
Anderlecht coach Rene Weller described the Nigeria forward as talented, who will not find it difficult to adapt to the Belgian league having played there with KAS Eupen in the last two seasons.
“I am delighted that he is coming to Anderlecht”, said Weiler.
“He’s a very talented player with impressive statistics.
“He should also not find it difficult to adapt to the league as he already knows it very well and we know his qualities.”
Anderlecht sports director Herman Van Holsbeeck said Onyekuru fits the ambitions of the club.
“His playing style fits that of our club and we hope the fans will welcome him,” he said.
“We are fighting on three fronts (in the new season) and the arrival of Henry Onyekuru suits the ambitions of the club.”
