Chinedu Obasi faces China exit

By Daily Sports on June 27, 2017

Former Super Eagles star Chinedu Obasi looks set to quit Chinese second division club Shenzhen at the end of his contract in December, according to SCORENigeria.

Former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson was the first major casualty at Shenzhen and he was also the man who signed free agent Obasi.

However, the club owned by the richest man in China are struggling to gain promotion to the country’s top league.

They remain outside the two-team promotion bracket, third on 26 points from 15 matches, a point behind Beijing Renhe, who have a game in hand.
