The Senate on Tuesday passed the Nigerian Football Federation (Est, etc) Bill, 2017 (SB. 154) after it scaled through the third reading.
This was followed by rigorous deliberations by the lawmakers who took turns contributing to the Committee Report laid on the floor of the Senate.
Senate President Bukola Saraki, reacting on the development, thanked the Committee on Sports. He said that the “passing of the Bill would bring Nigeria within the best practices as it has been an embarrassment to the Nation in the past.”
