Kayode gives hint he will quit Austrian club

Olanrewaju Kayode has given the strongest hint yet that he will quit Austria Wien soon after he scored his 17th goal of the season to take him top of the goals chart in the Austrian Bundesliga.

Kayode scored against champions Salzburg in his team’s 3-2 loss at home on Thursday.

The striker took to Facebook to thank his club for “making my stay enjoyable”.

“Finally it ended in praise…Thank God for my goal…17 league goals…Thank you Austria Wien management…Thank you my coach…Thank you my teammates…Thank you my super fans…Am grateful to you all and for making my stay enjoyable…#Lk8😉

He has already been linked to several top clubs including Spartak Moscow of Russia and a number of clubs in the German Bundesliga.

He has previously played in Cote d’Ivoire, Switzerland and Israel before he moved to Austria Wien two years ago.
