The President and sole sponsor of Go Round FC of Omoku, Bro. Felix Obuah, has congratulated the team following the streak of victories recorded in the current league season.
Obuah, who watched the match between Go Round FC and Warri Wolves over the weekend, said the all conquering boys have convincingly proven their worth as soccer ambassadors of Rivers State.
He commended the players for recording another away victory in the league, with the latest being a 1-0 win against Warri Wolves in Warri, Delta State at the weekend. Go Round, who are playing in the Southern Conference of the league, had earlier notched another away win in Lagos and a home win against Nnewi United.
Obuah charged his wards who are trailing the Southern Conference leaders, Bayelsa United with one point, to go all out and win their next match against Heartland of Owerri, hoping that a win against the Naze Boys would put them on top of the Southern Conference.
Bro. Obuah who is the State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) also praised the club for setting a record as the only team in the NNL to have recorded two away wins out of three.
The Go Round FC boss who is also the Sole Administrator of the Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA) said he would not relent in giving the club the needed motivation to spur them to more victories, charging them to stop at nothing to win the league and gain promotion into the elite division, the NPFL.
Obuah further enjoined his boys who are the defending champions of the State FA Cup to dream big by defending the trophy in this year’s edition, win the Confederation Cup and represent the country in the African Cup Winners Cup competition.
He also commended the excellent work of the coaching crew and management of the club for their resourcefulness and urged them to keep up the tempo.
