Victor Moses surprises England international

By Daily Sports on March 22, 2017

Legendary England defender Jamie Garragher never expected Victor Moses to have a future at English Premier League (EPL) giants Chelsea.

The 26-year-old Nigeria international, who is a defender-cum-midfielder, has been a revelation in the full-back position for EPL title chasing Chelsea this season.

Moses, who has been loaned out to Liverpool FC, Stoke City and West Ham United by Chelsea, has excelled under Antonio Conte’s guidance.

“Another thing you want a manager (Conte) to do is improve players – and look at Victor Moses,” Carragher said toDaily Mail.

“I never expected him to have a future at Chelsea,” the former Liverpool star, who is retired from professional football, continued.

“Given he had been out on loan so much, and the levels he has shown have taken me by complete surprise.

“He has been excellent in his new role of right wing back.”

The versatile player has made 27 league appearances for Chelsea this season – netting three goals in the process.(mtnfootball.com)
