2 NPFL referees survive auto-crash after Sunshine-River ties

Two Nigeria Professional Football League referees Peter Ogwu and Pwadatakum were involved in an auto crash on their way back from the Sunshine Stars FC vs Rivers United game.

The two officials manned the NPFL match day 10 tie between Sunshine Star and River United at the Akure Township Stadium.

The match ended in favour of the host Sunshine Star who edge their visitors, 1-0, via a long range wide shot by Ayodele Saka. (Daily Trust)
