Iwobi disappointed despite goal against Watford

By Daily Sports on February 2, 2017

Alex Iwobi marked his 50th appearance for Arsenal with a goal in Tuesday’s Premier League 2-1 defeat to Watford at the Emirates Stadium.

The 20-year-old’s goal in the 58th minute was not enough to earn Arsene Wenger's side a point after the Hornets’ first half goals through Younes Kaboul and Troy Deeney did the damage.

And the youngster has urged his teammates to put the defeat behind them and brace up for their next English topflight encounter on Saturday.

"Disappointing Result, Got to pick our heads up & go again ... Happy to have marked my 50th appearance for @arsenal with a goal #AFC #BIG17."

Iwobi who boasts of three goals from 19 appearances is expected to lead his team's attack when they face high-flying Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal are third on the English topflight log with 47 points from 23 games. (goal.com)
