Malaysian club Kelantan FA double Okiki’s pay – agent

The agent of Afolabi Okiki has revealed the Nigeria striker will receive double what he got at top Argentine club Talleres de Cordoba at new Malaysian club Kelantan FA.

Okiki, 22, and Cameroon World Cup player Cedric Djeugoue will now feature for Kelantan.

“The new team gave him more money, in fact twice as much,” said Okiki’s agent Marcelo Houseman.

Former Warri Wolves star Austin Amutu has previously featured for Kelantan FA.

The Argentine agent also disclosed the former Sunshine Stars and Shooting Stars forward is not happy to sit on the bench and so his decision to quit Argentina.

“He is good enough to play in Argentina but he’s not prepared to sit on the bench,” he said. (mtnfootball.com)
