John Obi Mikel has reportedly been seeking advice from former Chelsea team-mate, Didier Drogba, over a possible transfer to Olympique Marseille in France.
The Super Eagles captain’s current deal runs out at the end of this season and his national team coach, Gernot Rohr, says he is in advanced negotiations with the Ligue 1 outfit .
A report in the Evening Standard suggests Mikel Obi is keen on the move and has been speaking to Drogba about it.
Drogba joined Chelsea from Marseille in 2004, while Mikel Obi arrived in 2006 from Lyn Oslo.
