Kenneth Omeruo has been named the Sports Personality of the Year award by Screams All Youth Awards for his continuous hard work and contribution to youth development in Nigeria.
The Super Eagles defender who recently won the same category of award in Turkey, has been a force to reckon with in the heart of defence for both Nigeria and Turkish club Alanyaspor since joining them in August.
Omeruo featured for Nigeria in their two 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifying matches, took to his Instagram page to appreciate his fans for their continuous encouragement.
The 23-year old has been on loan to four clubs since moving to Chelsea in 2012.
