Enugu State Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi will receive Nigeria champions Enugu Rangers on December 19 at the Michael Okpara Square, officials have announced.
Rangers are to be rewarded with plots of land and cash gifts by the state government after they broke a 32-year jinx to annex a record-equaling seventh league championship.
Enugu State sports commissioner Charles Ndukwe confirmed the event.
“We will host the team at Okpara Square on December 19. It is a reality,” said Ndukwe. (mtnfootball.com)
