Chelsea and Nigeria star Victor Moses leads the November shortlist for the Premier League’s African Player of the Month award.
But Tottenham’s Kenyan midfield maestro Victor Wanyama and Victor Anichebe are hot on the heels of namesake Moses.
Victor Moses has shone in his new role as right wing-back with table-topping Chelsea, scooping two man of the match awards and scoring three goals in his best-ever spell at Stamford Bridge.
Nigeria striker Anichebe, who has been plagued with injury and poor form in recent years, has settled down at Sunderland so much so his deserved entry into the shortlist for the first time since the Award was formed two-and-a-half seasons ago.
The New African Soccer statement highlighted the achievements of these three Africans in a difficult month of November which was punctuated by “long travel schedules in an international break of World Cup qualifiers.”
