Conquer Africa and get land, other gifts, Anambra Govt. tells FC Ifeanyi Ubah players and officials

Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano, has commended FC Ifeanyi Ubah for the historic victory they recorded during the FA cup competition saying that the victory is of great significant to the state. The Governor also promised to make choice lands available to the players and the officials if they emerged victorious in the CAF competition. The governor however made a donation of N10 million to the club for their exploit.

The chairman/CEO of Capital Oil and the president of FC Ifeanyi Ubah, Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah, vowed that his club would do Anambra State and Nigeria proud in the CAF confederation cup next football season.

He made the declaration while presenting the 2016 FA Cup trophy won by his club to the governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano at the governor’s lodge in Amawbia.

While commending the hard work of the players and coaches which earned them the good result, Ubah also thanked the governor and the entire people of the state for their support to the club even as he solicited for their continual support and prayers.

Highlight of the occasion was the road show by the president of the club, Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah, the management and officials as well as the supporters and fans of the club round the major towns of the state starting with the state capital.
