U20 Nigeria forward Orji Okoronkwo is in line to make his Serie A debut for Bologna at home against Palermo on Sunday after he was named in the match day squad.
“I am in the match day squad for the match on Sunday,” Okoronkwo said.
“I feel great. It’s a big opportunity for me.
“For an 18-year-old to play in the Italian Serie A you must do something really extra and work hard.
“God did it for me and I am very happy.
“I am looking forward to play as many matches as possible with the first team.”
The former Nigeria U17 and U20 star has been assigned Jersey number 30 in the senior team
He has netted four goals in six matches in the second team of Bologna. (mtnfootball.com)
