Didier Ndong kicked out of Gabon camp

By Daily Sports on November 12, 2016

Sunderland AFC midfielder Didier Ndong has been sent back to his English Premier League (EPL) by the Gabon Football Federation (FEGAFOOT).

This was after the hard-working midfielder missed Gabon's training session on Wednesday and he failed to reveal the reasons behind his absence.

It is reported that the 22-year-old midfielder decided to not attend the training session, even though, he had been in Gabon's capital city, Libreville.

"As a consequence, the Gabon football federation (Fegafoot) decided to send the player back to Sunderland.

"He has not explained why he has not joined with the squad and all attempts to contact him have proved to be in vain," a statement read.

Gabon will take on Mali in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Saturday and the Group C clash will take place at the Stade du 26 Mars in the city of Bamako. (mtnfootball.com)
