Three Super Eagles players missed the side’s Tuesday morning training in Abuja ahead of Saturday 2018 World Cup qualifying clash against the Desert Warriors of Algeria at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo. The trio are Olympian, Oghenekaro Etebo, Elderson Echiejile and former junior international goalkeeper, Dele Alampasu. Spokesman of the side, Toyin Ibitoye said the trio are certain to be in camp in time for Tuesday’s evening training. “Only three players, Oghenekaro Etebo, Elderson Echiejile and Dele Alampasu missed the side’s training this morning (Tuesday) others fully took part in the first training session. “However, we have words as well as confirmation that the three-some will be available for the evening training. “There is nothing to worry as we are quite certain to have all the invited at hand later today (Tuesday). “The morning training went excellently well with the players and coaching crew. “The mood and spirit is quite okay as the players are business-like throughout the training session. “Of course, you need not tell the players the importance of the match as well as qualification for the World Cup. “I believe we are on the right path as far as preparation for the important match against Algeria is concerned,” said Ibitoye to supersport.com. Eagles are expected to continue preparation for the crucial clash in Abuja until Thursday when the side head to Uyo to wrap up preparation for Saturday’s World Cup clash against the North Africans.
