Nikyu confirms Katsina United appointment, team to train in Abuja

Coach Bala Nikyu has confirmed he has been appointed new head coach of promoted Katsina United and plans a training camp in Abuja next week.

“I give God the glory and I wish to start immediately with the team,” the coach said.

“I will be in Katsina for the official announcement after which the boys will resume camping in Abuja.

“We will try to keep the players intact and just look at the areas that need to be strengthened with some experienced players.”

The coach also confirmed he will no longer be assisting Mohammed Babaganaru at Wikki Tourists.

“I have told Wikki Tourists that I will no longer assist coach Babaganaru again,” he said.

“I appreciate them for giving me the chance to work with them.” (mtnfootball.com)
