No regrets with Sunshine Stars’ exit –Ogbeide

By Daily Sports on October 22, 2016

Experienced coach Solomon Ogbeide has maintained he does not have any regrets his contract at Sunshine Stars was not renewed even after he guided the club to a commendable position in the league.

Ogbeide joined the struggling Akure team to lift them to finish sixth on the table this past season.

“I don’t have any regrets about leaving Sunshine Stars, that’s football for you. I have moved on,” he said.

“I finished the season sixth on the table and we all know the position I met them before I took over.

“I left the club by mutual consent after the new management failed to renew my contract.”

Ogbeide’s assistant, Kayode Olujohungbe, has been appointed Sunshine Stars new coach, while Dapo Ajibade is the new chairman. (mtnfootball.com)
