Asamoah Gyan: Ghana’ll have to push harder to go through

By Daily Sports on October 21, 2016

Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan says his side will have to “push harder to go through” in their group at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.

The draw for the tournament’s first round took place in Libreville on Wednesday night and the Black Stars were placed in Group D alongside Uganda, Egypt and Mali.

Gyan, who will be appearing at his sixth Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Gabon, knows that Ghana will have a tough time in trying to advance from the difficult group.

He responded to a question on Ghana’s 2017 AFCON hopes his official Twitter page by posting, “Everything is possible but we have to push harder to go through.” (mtnfootball.com)
