Rangers assure Imama's contract papers ready

By Daily Sports on October 19, 2016

Top Rangers officials have assured coach Imama Amapakabo’s contract papers will be finalised for him to sign a new and improved two-year contract this week.

Last week, Rangers and Imama agreed a contract believed to be a remarkable improvement from the one million Naira a month he received last season.

Rangers general manager Paul Chibuzor disclosed: “We finished the documentation (for Imama’s contract) yesterday (Monday) and we hope to finalise it today.”

Acting Rangers chairman Steve Oruruo confirmed the young coach is already committed to ‘The Flying Antelope’.

“The most important thing is that we have agreed with Imama, he is staying put at Rangers,” Oruruo maintained.

Championship-winning coach Imama has continued to be linked with several top clubs including Kano Pillars and Akwa United. (mtnfootball.com)
