Gbolahan Salami scored his 14th goal of the season for Kuopion Palloseuraoy (KuPS) on Monday as he inspired the club to their 13th league victory of the season.
Salami scored in the 15th minute to set the tone for a 2-0 win for KuPS over HIFK in a Veikkausliiga game decided at Sonera Stadium, Helsinki.
Two other Nigerians, Azubuike Egwuekwe and Paul Onobi, were also in action for KuPS in the win which saw the club climb to seventh on the league standings with 46 points from 32 matches.
Salami has made a huge impact for KuPS since joining the club on January 31.
The 25-year-old attacker has scored 13 league goals and one in the Cup for KuPS this season. (supersport.com)
