Drogba’s future in doubt after exclusion

By Daily Sports on October 17, 2016

Former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba was not included in Montreal Impacts' 18-man squad for their derby game with Toronto FC on Sunday, fuelling speculation of a possible rift between the Ivorian and club officials.

The club has explained Drogba’s exclusion as being because of back problems, but according to a report from local channel RDS, Drogba has had a falling out with coach Mauro Biello.

Rumours earlier in the week linked the 38-year-old forward with a move to Serie A.

Montreal Impact need a win against Toronto to earn a play-off position with just Sunday's match and one more game remaining. (goal.com)
