Head Coach, Florence Omagbemi has invited 30 players to the Abuja camp of the senior women national football team to heighten Nigeria’s preparations for the 10th African Women Championship (AWC).
The players are made up of eight overseas-based professionals and 22 home-based players.
Reigning African Woman Player of the Year, Asisat Oshoala, is the most prominent of the overseas-based contingent while Osinachi Ohale leads the home-based group.
The AWC, also known as the Women Africa Cup of Nations, holds in Cameroon from November 19 to December 3.
