Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has refused to comment on whether he has been paid regularly by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) since he signed a two-year contract in August.
Rohr is on $47,000 a month and NFF president Amaju Pinnick disclosed his salary will be bankrolled by a mystery sponsor.
Other national team coaches are owed salaries running into several months by the NFF.
The Franco-German coach said at a press briefing in Abuja today: “I don’t speak about that (salary payment).
“My job is to go to Zambia and make a good game, if possible win. I don’t speak about finances. It is not my problem.
“For the moment I don’t have any problems with the NFF.” (mtnfootball.com)
