Former Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president, Aminu Maigari is on the delegation for the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup, which begins this weekend in Jordan.
The delegation will flew out with the country’s team, the Famingoes, last night from Abuja on board Emirates Airline.
They will stop over in Dubai before they connect to Jordan.
Nigeria begin their campaign on Sunday against Brazil.
They are also drawn against North Korea and England.
The Flamingoes, quarterfinalists at the last three editions of the championship (Trinidad and Tobago 2010, Azerbaijan 2012 and Costa Rica 2014), pounded Namibia and South Africa home and away to qualify for this year’s World Cup.(NAN)
