Amazing Iwobi, Iheanacho send Twitter into meltdown

By Daily Sports on September 18, 2016

Kelechi Iheanacho and Alex Iwobi sent Twitter into a frenzy after inspiring Manchester City and Arsenal respectively to victory in Saturday’s English Premier League outings.

Iheanacho who has now scored in three successive games for the Citizens got a goal plus an assist to help Pep Guardiola’s men see off Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium.

His 25th minute strike off Raheem Sterling’s assist was his 10th goal in the English topflight, despite only attempting 14 shots on target.

For Iwobi, his assists helped Arsene Wenger’s side defeat hosts Hull City 4-1 at the KCOM Stadium to helped them climb to the third position with 10 points.

And football fans were excited at the prospect of the duo shining at club level, made sure the rest of the Twitter world knew exactly what sort of impact two rookies made for their teams. (goal.com)
