Desire Oparanozie grabbed the winner as Guingamp defeated Juvisy 1-0 in a French Women topflight game at the Stade Fred Aubert on Sunday.
The 22-year-old netted in the 74th minute to ensure coach Sarah M'Barek's side recorded a winning start in their opening day match of the season.
The Super Falcons star lasted for the entire duration of the game as well as compatriot Evelyn Nwabouku, who made her debut for Guingamp in the encounter.
The opening season victory puts the Saint-Brieuc based outfit on fourth position and they would next hope to build upon their fine start at second-place Montpellier on September 25. (Goal.com)
