Ikorodu United draw in Abeokuta, as 3SC massacre Kano Pillars

Ikorodu United recorded another positive result in their newly adopted home in Abeokuta after drawing 1-1 against El Kanemi  Warriors in the Nigerian Professional Football League

Samuel Matthias had given the Maiduguri-based side the lead on 15 minutes from a free-kick, before Olasupo Adeyimi got the equalizer for the Oga boys on 68 minutes.

Elsewhere, Shooting Stars defeated Kano Pillars 4-0 after they lost the reverse fixture 6-0 in Kano, earlier in the season. Ifegwu Ojukwu gave the lead to 3SC after 10 minutes, with Ibrahim Ajani doubling the score line at 29 minutes.

Sunday Adeniji scored on 48 minutes, tapping past goalkeeper Yusif Muhd, and he scored again on 60 minutes, to complete the rout for 3SC.

Philip Azango scored the lone goal for Nasarawa United against Enugu Rangers from a looping header, with Ifeanyi Ubah winning 1-0 against table-toppers Wikki Tourists.

MFM FC match against Abia Warriors was suspended till 8AM Monday morning due to excessive rainfall in Lagos.

The NPFL table (as it stands now) sees Enugu Rangers drop out of the top three, with Wikki Tourist leading with 53 points after 31 matches, (with +20 goal difference), Rivers United  stay second with 53 points after 32 matches (with +10 goal difference) and Ifeanyi Ubah FC sit on third place with 52 points after 32 matches.
