SWAN Lagos Urges Nigerians To Embrace Unity And Love During Eid Celebration

The Chairman of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN Lagos State Chapter, Olatutu Oladunni, has extended warm Eid-el-Kabir greetings to Muslim faithful across Lagos State and Nigeria at large.

In her goodwill message, Olatutu urged Nigerians to embrace the values of sacrifice, love, peace, tolerance and unity which the holy festival represents. She noted that Eid-el-Kabir is a period of reflection and an opportunity for citizens to strengthen the bond of national unity irrespective of religious or ethnic differences.

The SWAN Lagos Chairman also called on sports stakeholders, journalists and Nigerians to continue promoting harmony, fairness and mutual respect in all spheres of life, especially within the sporting community.

According to her, sports remain a powerful tool for national integration and youth development, adding that the media must continue to play its role in promoting positive values capable of inspiring hope and progress in society.

She further prayed for peace, prosperity and continuous development in Lagos State and Nigeria, while wishing all Muslim faithful a joyous and memorable Eid celebration with their families and loved ones.

“On behalf of the Executive Committee and entire members of SWAN Lagos Chapter, I wish all Muslim faithful a peaceful and happy Eid Mubarak celebration. May this season bring renewed blessings, joy and abundant grace to every home,” she stated.
