The Women Commission of the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) will host the Southwest wing of the seminar in collaboration with the Ekiti State Government.

Prof. Florence Adeyanju will chair the events scheduled for Aug.19 and Aug. 22.

The venue for the event is the Ekiti State Governor's Conference Hall.

The seminar will feature the Female

Coaches, Administrators and Technical Officials from State Sports Councils/Commissions in the Southwest zone. They will all converge at the Governor's Office Conference Hall.

According to the body's secretary, Mrs Kemi Obidahunsi, the events started in July in the three northern zones.

Prof Adeyanju, the Chairperson, has commended the Ekiti state government's support in collaborating with the NOC to make the seminar successful in the Southwest and urges support for the two remaining in the South East and South South zones.

The Southeast and South South will be combined for an event; details will soon be published.

The seminar will be declared open by the President of the NOC, Engr Habu Ahmed Gumel, Nigeria's lone member in the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
